Hi, I am Chetan Narula and am a sports writer/journalist based in New Delhi, India. And I am crazy about sports. So much so that I kicked away a career in engineering and business administration (that’s two degrees out of the window) to get into this field because quite frankly, I couldn’t fathom a life wherein I would have to watch all the action from my living room (and on most occasions miss a major chunk of it!).

I have been writing since 2005 at various avenues such as blogs, websites and magazines. In 2008, I worked with Cricket Today magazine (Delhi) and then a short eleven month stint as cricket commentator with Mobile ESPN. Besides that I am a Formula One columnist with All Sports Magazine (Mumbai), www.dreamcricket.com (USA’s leading cricket portal) and Indian cricket correspondent with Cricket World Media (UK). Currently I am working on my first book, A commentary on India’s greatest cricket captains, due for release in 2010.

The reasoning behind the site is that there is lack of interactive journalism in India. Journalists abroad have their own blog-based websites which fans across the world follow passionately and involve themselves with the whole idea. Such individual ventures are missing atleast in India and I wanted to venture down that road. So if you are looking for news of what is happening in the sports world, probably you don’t need to read beyond the headlines of my posts. Otherwise, I will try and discuss in an opinionated and interactive way about the various happenings in the world of sport, and of course any interactions that I may have with players from different sports.

P.S – Currently the site is loaded with articles on cricket and F1. Football and other major sports will be added soon for this is a slow process.
